Can you elaborate how this works please?
“You can link certain plans to MailChimp Lists and automatically add subscribers to those lists on signup, plan change and user removal.”
So if I have 2 plans and one is a free plan, and I have 2 lists, one for free members and one for paid members, will users be automatically added and removed based on the plan they are currently active on?
Meaning if a free member upgrades, will they be removed from the free MailChimp list and added to the paid MailChimp list?
Just to further clarify, will this remove them from a list (ie remove from “paid member” list if they become free?2 years, 9 months ago Arindo DuqueKeymaster
Yes, it will =)
Great! Thanks 🙂2 years, 8 months ago CirroHostParticipant
Can the Mailchimp add-on be extended to use with other mail platforms? Like Mailster(WP Plugin) or Constant Contact?2 years, 8 months ago Arindo DuqueKeymaster
It can’t, they are unrelated services and require different approaches (even though they are somewhat similar). I did develop a Mailster integration for a client that was in a hurry to get it (I’m not sure if it covered autoresponders, though), but it was done under a custom development contract so I’m not sure what I can do with that code. I’ll try to work out with the client a way to sell it and split the revenues or come up with other solution.

Feature request for this please…
Restrict Content Pro does this already (let me know if you want a look at it’s code)
- Add members to MailChimp groups
- Track and record WP Ultimo membership status in MailChimp (updates automatically when a member’s status changes)
- Track all membership payments through MailChimp’s E-Commerce 360
Also, add First/Last names (I’ve added these to the signup process)
