I’ve never done a translation before, but judging by this (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/dutch-language-12/) it seems maybe the naming of the translation file, location, and default language may be the potential causes?
Also, judging by the other WP-Ultimo’s file naming for translations, wp-ultimo-plugin-and-theme-manager-nl_NL instead of wp-ultimo-plugin-and-theme-manager-nl
I think _NL may be missing and contributing.
Let me know how it goes.
Thank you for contributing to the translation.
Have a good Christmas.
@goldenticket no luck with it tried a couple of things and that was one of them _NL

Its quite frustrating that this doesn’t work out of the box. Just double checked the files they were empty. Export them again from the website and now the files contain the translation but still no luck!
EDIT Got it working after updating the file and set the correct language Dutch (Netherlands) instead of just dutch and changed the files also indeed again to nl_NL.

Hi all. Sorry for the delay.
The lang folder always take only the lang code as valid names, like @PG91 described on his edit. So the files should be named fr_FR, pt_BR, en_GB, etc.
I’ll add a note about that on the translating site to make sure translators get to know this and also check if there’s anyway to get Glotpress to export the files with the right name.
Also, thank you so much for your contribution, @PG91. I’ll make sure the next releases ship with your translations. Can you send me your first and last name via private message, so I can add you to the Readme file as a contributor?
